Bel Canto Upgrade Options

REF1000 to REF1000M Upgrade

Your original REF1000 power amplifiers can be factory upgraded to REF1000M (formerly referred to as MK II) status. As part of the upgrade, each amp will receive the custom power sentry board exclusive to Bel Canto REF amplifiers. A new chassis is included in the upgrade as well. Please contact your local dealer or fill out the RMA form to begin the upgrade process.

S300i Options

The S300i integrated amplifier can be equipped with any one of three expansion module options. The 24/96 USB Input module currently ships as the standard S300i option. Also available are the MM Phono Option Board and the S/PDIF DAC Option Board, which works excellently with the USB 24/96 Link. Please contact your local dealer or fill out the RMA form to begin the upgrade process.

VB Upgrade

The performance of your DAC3, PRE3, and PHONO3 can be dramatically improved by utilizing Bel Canto's Virtual Battery Technology, powering it with the VBS1 or LNS1. Please contact your local dealer or fill out the RMA form to begin the upgrade process.

DAC3 to DAC3.3VB Upgrade

Your DAC3 or DAC3VB can be upgraded with the new technology found in the DAC3.5VB.

• First, your DAC3 requires the VB upgrade so that it will be powered by the VBS1 or LNS1.
• Secondly, a new main board featuring the Master Reference Ultra-Clock will be installed, matching the performance of the DAC3.5VB.
• Your DAC3 will retain its original display board and also will not have the Analog Input found in the DAC3.5VB. However, the ST Fiber Input can be added as an extra level of upgrade.

Black Faceplate

Any e.One series product can be fitted with a Black Faceplate. Please contact your local dealer or fill out the RMA form to begin the upgrade process.
